 Avaya One-X Mobile:
Avaya one-X™ Mobile enhances your remote
call forward to cell phone, Avaya IP Office Mobile Twinning and
Avaya Communication Manager Extension to Cellular by providing
an interface on your compliant cell phone that gives users a graphical
interface to use the features from the existing phone system. For
example, One-X users can use system dialtone to turn on/off features
as well as access outside lines from the system. This allows better
tracking and more flexibility in your wireless device.
The Avaya one-X Mobile family consists
of the following clients:

Avaya
One-X Deskphone Phones (One-X SIP):
Avaya has multiple One-X Deskphones to choose
from depending on the Avaya Call Processor you select. Avaya Quick
Edition, Avaya Distributed Office and Avaya Communication Manager
allows for Avaya One-X Desktop Phones. Avaya 1600 Series IP Telephones
are cost-effective IP phones (paper inserts) whereas the Avaya
9600 Series IP Telephones have digital display. Avaya 1600 series
include Avaya 1603, Avaya 1608, and Avaya 1616 with supported 32
button expansion module. Avaya 9600 series include Avaya 9610,
Avaya 9620, Avaya 9630, and Avaya 9650. Side consoles and color
screens are available with dual supported VoIP and SIP technologies.
Traditional Avaya One-X Deskphones include Avaya 4610 that work
on the Avaya Quick Edition.
Avaya SIP Technology
SIP is the latest buzz in IP telephony. SIP allows for a certain
feature set to be brought forward across non-alike PBX manufacturers
as well as allow the phone to communicate quicker with peer-peer
SIP technology. SIP technology can be ideal for many remote small
office locations or even as in your local office environment.
