About: Business Only Broadband (BOB) provides several solutions for business of any type or size. They provide 100% Carrier-Grade Internet-over-Ethernet and Metro Ethernet.

Solutions:

PublicCONNECT™: This solution is fully-managed and provides high-speed Internet and wireless access. It can support mission-critical applications including CRM, VoIP, backup and disaster recovery, and ERP. It is available in Chicago, Milwaukee, New Jersey and New York. Features include:

• Internet-over-Ethernet with speeds from 1 Mbps all the way up to 1 Gbps
• BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) Support
• Carrier-grade service level agreements
• Fully meshed backbone
• On-line in-depth performance reporting
• 24/7 support and network monitoring

PrivateCONNECT™: This solution from BOB provides your business with a connection of your remote locations. This service is both flexible and secure and increases your business productivity. Your business will receive 100% uptime with complete privacy with seamlessly secure interconnectivity. This solution additionally ensures that you have "last mile" access and links your remote LANs with both metro and long-haul private network connectivity. Options for PrivateCONNECT™ include:

• Metro Ethernet: This solution from Business Only Broadband provides an Ethernet Virtual Connection (EVC) for businesses that are looking to connect two or more locations over a private connection. Speeds are available from 1 Mbps all the way up to 1 Gbps and both intra-state as well as inter-state configurations are supported. Intra-state is for businesses that are seeking to connect two or more locations within the same state, and Inter-state is for the connection of two or more locations in different states. Features include:
  • Quality of Service (QoS): BOB offers 3 different classes of service; Gold, Silver, and Best Effort. You are given the option to decide which traffic receives which service class.
    • Gold:
      • TOS Bit: 28, 136, 184, 224
      • DSCP Class: af12, af41, ef, cs7
    • Silver:
      • TOS Bit: 40, 160
      • DSCP Class: af11, cs5
    • Best Effort:
      • TOS Bit: All other values
      • DSCP Class: All other values
  • Traffic Management: This service ensures that your traffic is being properly managed. It allows for allocation of bandwidth to traffic you decide needs more priority.
  • L2CP (Layer 2 Control Protocol) Processing
  • Online Reporting: BOB provides in-depth reports via a secure web portal for customers at their request.
  • 24/7 Proactive Network Monitoring and Technical Support: In order to prevent any delays in your service, BOB is constantly monitoring your network. Additionally, your business will be provided with 24/7 technical support as well as emergency maintenance.
• MPLS: This solution provides a private and secure connection between your businesses multiple locations. There are two different options of MPLS service available:
  • PrivateCONNECT™ MPLS Intra-State: This solution interconnects two or more of your service locations that are within the same state.
  • PrivateCONNECT™ MPLS Inter-State: This solution interconnects two or more of your service locations between two or more different states.

Features of Business Only Broadband's MPLS services include the following:

• Quality of Service (QoS)/Service Class Marking: There are 3 different classes of service available. You choose which class of service goes to which kind of traffic so that your bandwidth is being properly utilized
  • Gold:
    • TOS Bit: 48, 136, 184, 224
    • DSCP Class: af12, af41, ef, cs7
  • Silver:
    • TOS Bit: 40, 160
    • DSCP Class: af11, cs5
  • Best Effort:
    • TOS Bit: All other values
    • DSCP Class: All other values
• Traffic Management: BOB implements a variety of network traffic-shaping policies as well as radio configurations so that traffic is restricted to your subscribed Committed Information Rate (CIR). If bandwidth exceeds CIR, BOB discards any non-conforming packets. This allows for prioritization of traffic.
• VLAN Tag Preservation: This solution is an IP-layer service. VLAN tags aren't supported or preserved among the Business Only Broadband network backbone.
• L2CP (Layer 2 Control Protocol) Processing
• Maximum Frame Size: Maximum Transmission Unit of 1546 bytes is supported and included is Ethernet Header and other overhead.
• Online Reporting: As a BOB customer you will receive access to a password-protected web portal that will give you access to important online reports that display customer utilization in-depth.
• Networking Monitoring and Technical Support: Business Only Broadband provides seamless services with minimal downtime. To increase business productivity and business continuity, BOB and CCS are constantly monitoring your network and are available for any support needs you may have 24/7.

EventCONNECT™: If you are in need of secure on-demand Internet access for an event, Business Only Broadband provides this solution as an option. Benefits and services include:
