\"\"One business tool that\u2019s been slow to keep up with technology is the business card. If you were to look around your office there\u2019s a high probability you have an abundance of them. A problem starts to arise when we get too many, it becomes easy to lose an important card. Users of Microsoft Office 365<\/a> have a solution: they can use Outlook to store and create electronic business cards.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s how to create and share an electronic business card:<\/p>\n

Create an Electronic Business Card<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Open Outlook and select\u00a0Contacts<\/em> followed by\u00a0Home<\/em>. Click on\u00a0New Contact<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  2. When the Contact window opens, press Business Card<\/em> and the\u00a0Edit Business Card<\/em> window will open.<\/li>\n
  3. You will be able to enter contact information into the relevant areas under the\u00a0Fields<\/em> box.<\/li>\n
  4. If you want to add an image or change the layout of the business card, press the\u00a0Layout<\/em> button located in the right side of the screen.<\/li>\n
  5. When you have entered the information, press\u00a0Ok<\/em> and the business card will be saved as a\u00a0.vcf<\/em> file which is readable by most email clients.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Add an Electronic Business Card to an Email<\/strong>
    \nIf you have saved a contact\u2019s information as a business card, you can easily attach the card to an email.<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. In a message select the\u00a0Contacts <\/em>pane and search for the business card you would like to attach. When you find it, click it.<\/li>\n
    2. Select the\u00a0Home<\/em> tab, followed by\u00a0Forward Contact<\/em>. A drop-down menu will open, select\u00a0As a Business Card<\/em>.<\/li>\n
    3. You will see the business<\/a> card as an attachment in the email.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Add a Business Card as a Signature <\/strong>
      \nYou can add a business card to your signature in any email.<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. When you create an email message click Signature and select\u00a0Add signature<\/em>.<\/li>\n
      2. Select the signature you would like to use, if you have one. If not, press anywhere in the white space below\u00a0Edit signature<\/em>.<\/li>\n
      3. Click\u00a0Business Card<\/em> beside the paragraph alignment buttons in the\u00a0Edit signature<\/em> field.<\/li>\n
      4. Select the contact name you use and press\u00a0Ok<\/em>. Your contact information will show up at the bottom of the email as a downloadable\u00a0.vcf<\/em> file.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
