Avaya IP Office Solutions:
Avaya IP Office solutions (IP400 & IP500) are the hottest selling small to mid-market business telephone phone system on the market today. This phone system is a rack mountable phone system with Avaya feature rich functionality built in that allows you to deploy analog, digital, wireless, or IP sets or even a mix of these to have a fully converged solution. With the release of IP Office R4.0 came the release of IP500 solutions including IP500 processor, IP500 insert modules, and IP500 expansion modules.
Avaya IP Office IP400 Customers
For certain features like Avaya Mobility (One-X™ to cellular) you will need to migrate to the IP500 processor. Contact the CCS Support group at 847-424-1500 for migration process and to review existing equipment to see compatibility options. Or if you are looking to move or add to your existing IP400, the CCS Support group will assist you purchase new equipment that is compatible with what you have today.

IP Office Licenses (IP Office Feature Key, IP Office USB Dongle, & IP Office Smartcards):
For any IP500 solution you must have a valid IP Office Smartcard to associate your licensing. For any IP400 solution, you must have a valid serial or USB IP Office dongle to associate your licensing.
Here are some available IP Office Licenses and IP Office Applications:
Call Center Licenses (CCC – Compact Contact Center, SBCC – Small Business Contact Center, and Taske)
CCC Server License: Includes 1 CCC Server, 1 Supervisor CCV license, 1 PC Wallboard license, 5 CCC agents.
CCC Agent Licenses: Allows for additional agents to be monitors. RTU comes in 5, 10, 25, and 50 user packages.
CCC PC Wallboards: Allows for additional Enhanced PC Wallboard licenses. RTU comes 5, 10, 20, 50 user packages.
CCC External Wallboard Licenses: CCC has 2 supported external wallboards. One license per 4 wallboards is required. The CCC Spectrum Wallboards enables the operation of between of 4 and 16 Spectrum (not Ferrography) wallboards.
CCC Supervisors: One standard CCC supervisor is included. This allows for more simultaneous supervisors to realtime monitor using CCV the call center. RTU come in 2, 3, 4, or 5 supervisors.
CCC Designer (users), CCC Agent Rostering, CCC Blue Pumpking, CCC Contact Center for web chat, email, and fax queue, and CRM integration: CCC also offers a number of additional licenses to help enhance your call center.
CTI (Avaya Computer Telephony Integration) using TAPI and TSAPI hooks:
CTI Link PRO: allows for third party application to integrate using TAPI. For example, if you need Caller-ID pops to your desktop using a third party server for multiple users this is the best bet.
Avaya WAVE User License IP Office: Allows streaming of WAV files to third party application servers using TAPI WAVE.
Voicemail Options:
IP Office Voicemail LITE: This comes free with IP400 units and free with IP500 and professional office license. This allows voicemail only.
IP Office Voicemail PRO: If you are looking for automated attendants, call vectoring, call queueing, ACD, call recording, voicemail to email, queue messages, special call flows, and flexible unlimited attendants the Voicemail PRO is the application for you. This version allows 500 users by 4 ports right out of the box. IP Office Additional Voicemail PRO ports allows you to add voicemail ports with a simple license saving you time and money. IP412v1 and IP500v1 allows for 30 max ports, whereas IP406v2 allows for up to 20 ports.
IP Office Integrated Messaging (Avaya IMS or Avaya UMS): If you want full integration to your existing Microsoft® Exchange server allowing you to delete in both places.
Objectworld Unified Messaging and Avaya IP Office and Avaya telephone systems: If you are looking for a fully unified communication solution, the Objectworld Call Attendant office integrates well to the Avaya IP Office solution. To integrate a simple license is required.
Intuity Audix LX and Avaya Modular Messaging for IP Office: The Avaya Modular Messaging and Intuity Audix allows integration with a simple license. Please note for the majority of phone systems the Avaya IP Office voicemail PRO package is most cost effective and it will give you everything and more.
Centralized Voicemail: Once you have IP networked your IP Office systems, you have the option to turn on centralized voicemail. This allows the unification of voicemail server. If you want local auto-attendants and redundancy as well as have multiple locations, the Networked Messaging license allows you to have independent voicemail pro systems as well as allowing integration using VPIM technology.
Client Applications:
PhoneManager Pro: This allows for up to 1000 busy lamp field users, caller-ID log, call scripting, one touch PC dial, CTI integration, dial by Outlook®, screen pop to Outlook® and more.
Phone Manager PRO IP Audio Enabled: For Phone Manager PRO users on a VoIP ready IP Office, buy an additional license and you are IP enabled (remember, phone manager pro license is also required for IP softphone).
IP Sec & IP Phone VPN License: For remote IP deskphones to operate seamlessly, a VPN is required. For small offices or home workers, the cost for a hard VPN solution doesn’t make sense. The VPN license can be loaded up on your IP hardphone and will dynamically build the VPN in the phone itself back to your main router.
SoftConsole: The SoftConsole or more commonly known as the reception PC console is a purely CTI application that allows for better call control on the PC making the reception position easier. Up to 4 softconsoles can be added to one system.
Other Licenses:
DECT Integration: Allows for IP Dect phones.
Compact Business Center: Visual history (6 second) diagrams of call center and queue status. This tool is inexpensive and good for a simple call center.
Conferencing Center: Allows you to conduct visual webinars using the Conferencing Center.
Contact Store (Witness) Call Recording: For companies using the free call recording feature of the IP Office who need a management tool.
Mobile Twinning & Avaya One-X™ Mobile: If your organization requires bridging of deskphone to mobile users, check out the Avaya Mobile Twinning (EC500) license for IP Office. This also allows for One-X™ Mobile compliant phones to load a software application and push out features to the mobile device.
Basic Networking License: This license is required for any IP500 to IP500 networking. Additional Basic Networking licenses are available for more conversations across the network. Remember, VCM or voice compression resource hardware is required for IP conversion. This is needed for networking on an IP 500.
Advanced Networking License: This allows your IP400 and IP500 networked IP Office phone systems to share users in distributed hunt groups and also allows you to hot desk profiles between locations.
VCM Licenses (or voice compression and dsp licenses): For IP400 the VCM were sold in 4, 8, 5, 10, 20, and 30. Once you purchased the hardware all channels were open. To reduce the price, Avaya rolled out the VCM 32 insert module with standard 4 VCM licenses. Then you can purchase additional VCM channels with licenses.
SIP Trunking Licenses for Avaya IP500: SIP trunking is an up and coming technology that more and more providers will steer customers towards due to the features as well as pricing point. Purchase SIP trunk licenses in bundles or per channel.
T1 Channel Licenses for Avaya IP500 and Avaya T1 IP500 cards: For IP500 and the new T1 IP500 cards you must purchase licenses to open channels. This makes the T1 card more competitive especial how providers are sharing voice and data T1 services. The IP500 T1 card gives you 8 channels right off the bat and then you must license channels as needed.
