Avaya Partner ACS Phone System:
From AT&T to Lucent Technologies to Avaya Communications, Avaya
has continued the tradition of the Partner product line and kept
investment protect alive with their Partner ACS family of solutions
(Partner SOE aka Partner Small Office Edition and Partner ACS). Customer
can reuse some of their older phone sets as well as packs with the
newer Partner ACS processor. The evolution of the Partner telephone
set began with the Partner MLS series (MLS 6, MLS 12, MLS 12D, MLS
18, MLS 18D, and MLS 34D) and mirgrated to the Partner Eurostyle
(now known as Series I) sets (Partner 6 Button, Partner 18, Partner
18D, and Partner 34D). With the new Partner ACS R7.0 the Series
II phones with enhanced display as well as easier to use keys was
rolled out. If you are an older Partner customer who has Partner
Endeavor, Partner II (Partner 2), Partner + (Partner Plus) or if
you are using your Partner Telephone Sets on your Merlin phone system,
contact the CCS Sales Department to help migrate you into a new phone
solution.
Processor
Options:
Partner ACS Telephone System (R7.0): allows
for up to 5 lines by 9 extensions right off the processor with
contact/closure, music on hold, and overhead page (line 5) connectivity. This
processor can sit in a 5 slot cabinet allowing for growth to approximately
24 lines by 40 extensions.
Partner SOE or Partner Small Office
Edition: allows
for a company who doesn’t need room for growth and could
get by with up to 3 lines by 8 extensions.

- Allows for channelized T1 (up to 16 channels with
R7.0 with future released to increase)
- Cordless phones
- Tip ring ports or enhanced tip ring
ports that allow either
- Partner or single line phones to work without
any additional equipment
- PCMCIA slots for backup/restore, ASA/DXD
and small Partner messaging card (4 box or 16 box)
- External voicemail
options for enhanced voicemail options (ie visual messages and
multiple attendants)
- Remote call forward and caller ID and more…

on hold port right on the processor
